Jefferson County is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician HVAC to support building operations by inspecting and repairing HVAC and related equipment. The role involves evaluating equipment status, performing preventive maintenance, updating records, and assisting with cost analyses and upgrades.

Starting pay is $29.76 per hour with potential to reach $44.64. 40-hour weekly schedule, with benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement matching, wellness

Formación

• Three years of work experience in maintenance.
• Experience inspecting and repairing HVAC equipment.
• Certification in Refrigerant Transition and CFC (EPA).

Responsabilidades

• Observe and inspect HVAC equipment to determine operating status and perform repairs as required.
• Provide recommendations regarding equipment upgrades.
• Maintain and repair commercial food service equipment.
• Replace and repair plumbing equipment.
• Provide cost analysis figures for equipment repair.
• Update and maintain databases and files.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Building Maintenance Technician HVAC is responsible for assisting building operations and repairs. Conducts equipment mechanical evaluations. Repairs or replaces building parts and responds to service requests. Conducts preventive maintenance. Ensures building programming is functioning. Evaluates reports and paperwork.
