Job summary
Jefferson Health in Lansdale, PA is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician responsible for operation, maintenance, installation, inspection and repair of hospital heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. You will work with chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, pumps, and related equipment, reading blueprints and owner manuals, and ensuring refrigerant compliance and adherence to NFPA, BOCA, and ASHRAE guidelines.
This role requires a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Air Conditioning
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program.
- Philadelphia Class A license preferred for Philadelphia hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, install, inspect, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Ensure refrigerant compliance and adherence to NFPA, BOCA, ASHRAE guidelines.
- Read blueprints and manuals to service chillers, towers, AHUs, and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and coordinate with supervisor on other tasks.
