Qualifications

7 years of experience working on mechanical systems in institutional/industrial environments.
High school education required; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
Formal training in two of four disciplines (HVAC, steam, refrigeration, controls) required.
Driver's license required; hazardous violations disqualifying.
Stationary Engineer license desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair HVAC and mechanical systems across campus buildings.
Diagnose and troubleshoot systems in confined spaces with PPE.
Repair, re-commission and replace boilers, pumps, controls, and energy systems.
Log operations and manage work orders with precise documentation of locations, hours, and costs.
Transport and install equipment; assist in other zones as needed.
