Job summary

CloudKitchens in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician specialized in HVAC to join our on-site team. You’ll perform hands-on facility maintenance, HVAC and refrigeration servicing, and build/repair infrastructure to support a fast-paced warehouse/tech facility.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on facility maintenance, HVAC knowledge, EPA Universal certification, and forklift certification (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in commercial/industrial facility maintenance or related field.
• HVAC basics and building mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems knowledge.
• EPA Universal certification; Forklift certification required (or ability to become certified on hire).
• Proficient with common hand tools, power tools, drywalling, framing, and general building repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights when necessary.
• Strong communication, reliability, attention to detail, and proactive self-starter attitude.

Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on facility maintenance and minor construction work (drywall repairs, framing, patching, painting, and fit-outs).
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance on building infrastructure and facility equipment.
• Service, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop area and proper handling of tools/materials.
• Manage material flow within the facility and assist teams with moving larger units/equipment.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and build crates for shipment.
• Collaborate with facility leadership and engineering to log work and resolve site challenges.
