Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in commercial/industrial facility maintenance or building engineering.
• Working knowledge of HVAC basics and building mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• EPA Universal certification; Forklift certification required or attainable upon hire.
• Proficient with common hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, drywalling and general building repairs.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights.
• Strong communication, reliability, attention to detail, and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on facility maintenance and minor construction work (drywall, framing, patching, painting).
• Perform planned preventive maintenance on building infrastructure and equipment including HVAC/refrigeration systems.
• Maintain clean, safe shop area and proper handling of tools/materials.
• Manage material flow within the facility and assist with movement of larger units/equipment.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and build crates/packaging for shipment.
• Collaborate with facility leadership and engineering teams to log work and resolve site challenges.
