Job summary

Judson Independent School District Maintenance and Warehouse in San Antonio, TX seeks an Electronics Controls Technician I to install, test, and upgrade campus control systems and HVAC components across the district. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a Texas driver’s license, and preferably an HVAC trade school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with good driving record and insurance.
• HVAC trade school diploma preferred.
• Fingerprints/background check required.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, replace and upgrade campus control systems and HVAC components.
• Repair district control systems related to mechanical, pneumatic and electrical operations.
• Maintain preventive maintenance for HVAC equipment and controls.
• Read blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure work orders meet specifications and deadlines.
• Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE.
