Job summary

Springtown Independent School District seeks an HVAC technician to maintain, repair, and install heating and air conditioning systems across district facilities. Under general supervision, you will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient operation of all HVAC equipment.

The ideal candidate holds a TDLR journeyman HVAC Class B license and a valid Texas driver’s license, with knowledge of wiring, blueprints, and codes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems and use hand/power tools

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various HVAC systems and components
• Install and relocate HVAC systems and ductwork per code specifications
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and document materials/labor
• Respond to emergency calls and maintain inventory of tools/equipment
