Job summary

Colgate University is seeking an HVAC/Preventative Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair HVAC/R systems on campus. The role requires diagnosing complex issues, working both independently and with a team, and a strong knowledge of HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• At least one of the following is required: Certificate from accredited HVAC/R program or certified trade school plus experience.
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be available to work evenings, nights, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs HVAC/R components on campus.
• Conducts layouts for assigned jobs and translates prints into finished products.
• Maintains records of materials used and time spent on assignments.
