Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Building Automation Specialist II to service and maintain complex HVAC BAS in the United States, with a focus on the Columbus, Ohio area. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize control system performance, test software across languages, and document field changes for commissioning.

You'll communicate with customers, prepare startup documentation, and provide technical guidance on upgrades while prioritizing tasks to meet project timelines and client expectations.

Qualifications

4+ years experience in HVAC and building automation
Experience in installation of panel terminations based on submittals
Experience with stripping and terminating 12 to 16-gauge wire
Working knowledge of red-lining commissioning
Installation of panel terminations based on submittal drawings

Responsibilities

Maintain and service complex HVAC BAS for optimal performance
Diagnose and repair control system malfunctions; test/modify software
Communicate with customers on arrival and progress
Provide field sketches and startup/checkout docs for commissioning
Act as technical resource for upgrades and replacements
Prioritize tasks to meet leadership schedules
