Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Service Technician in Columbus, OH to independently or collaboratively provide exceptional service, test HVAC systems, diagnose low-voltage electrical and control issues, and assist with building automation installations.

You will engage with customers and team members, adhere to safety standards, and perform warranty services while working in various spaces, including ladders and tight areas. Candidates must be US-based and eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused, reliable, eager to learn.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems preferred (RTU, AHU, VAV, Boilers, Chillers, Heat pumps).
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Work independently or as part of a team to deliver exceptional service.
• Perform HVAC system testing.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose low-voltage electrical and control issues
• Assist with installation and commissioning of building automation systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Follow all safety standards and processes.
• Climb ladders and work in tight spaces when needed.
• Perform warranty services
