Job summary

Jobot is seeking an HVAC Controls Engineer to support the design and development of building automation systems across commercial projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This role focuses on solving complex problems, coordinating with project teams, and delivering systems from design through execution.

Candidates should have experience in HVAC controls or building automation, be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings, and be proficient with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC controls or building automation system design.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and building automation control systems based on project plans.
• Create system layouts, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
• Prepare submittals, as-builts, and O&M documentation.
• Select control devices and ensure designs meet project specifications.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams.
• Support integration across HVAC, lighting, access control, and related systems.
• Assist with BAS graphics and system interface development.
