Job summary

Carrier Enterprise in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Part-Time Branch Sales Associate for our HVAC products. You will greet customers, provide product advice, process orders, and support inventory and warehouse operations.

Qualifications

Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in HVAC/R or related field.
Strong knowledge of HVAC/R products, equipment, and components.
Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with computerized sales and inventory systems.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide expert advice, product information, and recommendations.
Process customer orders accurately and ensure items are available and correctly priced.
Maintain knowledge of inventory, specifications, pricing, and promotions.
Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts and report discrepancies to the Branch Manager.
Assist customers with troubleshooting and technical product queries.
Upsell products and promote sales initiatives and promotions.
Provide warehouse support including receiving and stocking merchandise.
