CJ Schwan's is seeking an HVAC/Boiler Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This full-time night shift includes safety-focused operations, rapid emergency repair capabilities, and inventory management for parts and tools.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a two-year trade maintenance degree preferred, and 0–2 years of related experience. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment like conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines to keep production running smoothly.
• Follow food safety rules and use appropriate cleaning procedures and materials to stay compliant.
• Handle emergency repairs during production to minimize downtime and restore operations quickly.
• Manage spare parts and tools inventory to ensure availability when needed.
• Work safely and follow OSHA regulations, keeping the work area clean.

HVAC/Boiler Technician

Starting Pay: $33.50 per hour
Additional $2.00 shift differential from 6 p.m. -- 6 a.m.
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.

What You Will Do:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment like conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines to keep production running smooth and prevent breakdowns.
• Follow food safety rules when working around production areas, using the right cleaning procedures and food-grade materials to keep everything up to code.
• Handle emergency repairs when equipment breaks down during production, getting things back up and running as fast as possible to minimize downtime.
• Manage spare parts and tools inventory to make sure you've got what you need when equipment needs fixing or upgrading.
• Always working safely, following OSHA regulations and keeping your area clean and in line with company rules.

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete work orders and enter the required paperwork into a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
