- Manage and assist with financial documentation (Purchase Orders, Change Orders, and Requisitions).
- Compile, issue, and track subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Assist in the coordination of subcontractors and various suppliers/trades with your PM and field team.
- Assist with estimation, bidding, and buyout process with the PM team and estimators.
- Level, understand, and articulate bids, change orders, and other documents.
- Effectively communicate project status and progress with team and management.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, blueprints, and process submittals.
- Prepare written correspondence to subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project success.
- Coordinate information flow between field personnel, subcontractors, and the design team.
- Work with support staff to distribute project data and documents to the team.
- Utilize computer systems to manage and track milestones and documentation.
- Review and understand the project scope by examining construction documents.
- Follow-up with subcontractors to ensure timely proposal submissions.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals, including preparing cost comparison charts.
- Maintain current project drawings and specifications in the office.
- Coordinate shop drawing submissions and reviews.
- Attend project meetings and take minutes for all participants.
- Manage project documentation such as RFI, change orders, submittals, and contacts.
- Gather closeout materials and resolve open issues.
- Prepare kick-off packages.
- Schedule and follow up on punch-list items.
