Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. in South Carolina is seeking mechanically inclined individuals to assemble portable HVAC equipment, inspect and repair, and prepare equipment for customers. Training is provided and the role offers a steady daytime schedule.

You will work indoors and outdoors, load and unload equipment, and communicate professionally with customers and team members as part of a reliability-driven, safety-conscious shop.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical training preferred.
• Entry-level candidates welcome.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic plumbing/electrical knowledge a plus.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machine components (pipes, electrical connections, fasteners).
• Safely load and unload HVAC equipment to/from trucks and trailers.
• Perform touch-up painting and sheet metal fabrication/modification.
• Operate forklifts to move and organize materials indoors and outdoors.
• Wash and inspect returned equipment and report any damage.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
