Job summary

Ohio Cat is seeking mechanically inclined individuals to assemble portable HVAC equipment, inspect, assist with repairs, and prep equipment for customers. Training is provided.

This on-site production role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and honest work, with a set schedule from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical/technical aptitude, and good communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational or technical training in a related field is preferred.
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Mechanical aptitude or general technical service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machine components (pipes, electrical connections, mechanical fasteners, etc.)
• Safely load and unload HVAC equipment to/from trucks and trailers
• Perform touch-up painting and sheet metal fabrication/ modification
• Operate forklifts to move and organize materials indoors and outdoors
• Wash and inspect returned equipment, reporting any damage
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather

What You’ll Do
