Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. is seeking mechanically inclined individuals to assemble portable HVAC equipment, inspect, assist with repairs, and prepare equipment for customers. Training is provided and team-oriented, with a 7:30am - 4:00pm schedule.

Responsibilities include assembling components, loading equipment, painting, basic fabrication, forklift work, and customer communication. Entry-level candidates are welcome; a HS diploma is required and vocational training is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical aptitude or general technical service skills required.
  • Basic plumbing and pipe-fitting knowledge a plus.
  • Basic understanding of electrical system principles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

  • Assemble machine components (pipes, electrical connections, mechanical fasteners, etc.).
  • Safely load and unload HVAC equipment to/from trucks and trailers.
  • Perform touch-up painting and sheet metal fabrication/ modification.
  • Operate forklifts to move and organize materials indoors and outdoors.
  • Wash and inspect returned equipment, reporting any damage.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.

In this production-based role, you'll assemble portable HVAC equipment, perform inspections, assist with repairs, and help prepare equipment for customers. Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm

What You'll Do
