Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking an Area Service Leader to guide a geographic service area, align budget targets, and lead a team of Area Service Managers to deliver safe, cost-efficient HVAC solutions.

You will own a 1–2 year strategic outlook, manage hiring, training, and safety programs, interface with customers on high-visibility projects, and drive service growth through collaboration with sales and the operations team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in HVAC or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience managing and coaching large teams.
• Project management skills to oversee startups and customer requests.
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of P&L and annual operating plans.
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft applications; Salesforce experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Strategic outlook for growing the business to meet targets (revenue, workforce forecasting).
• P&L responsibility and monthly revenue forecasting; drive service base growth.
• Interface with customers on large projects and service growth opportunities.
• Budget control for overhead items and safety equipment; manage risk in service agreements.
• Oversee service coordination, training, and staffing to meet customer needs.
• Ensure safety/compliance and lead hiring, training, and development.
