Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC apprenticeship candidate to train on mechanical equipment and controls at client sites. You will participate in Service Technical Academy certification, gain hands-on troubleshooting experience, and work under guidance to deliver efficient building solutions.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and meeting union training requirements in the first year, with opportunities for advancement and professional certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
• 1–2 years of trade school or college in a technical emphasis.
• 1+ years of industry experience or experience servicing mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
• General knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service related items.
• As a trusted advisor to our customers you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service.
• Keep JCI, contractors, and the customer advised of job progress and issues; participate in required Union training for first year.
