Job summary

The role targets candidates with a High School diploma or GED, interest in HVAC, and a path toward EPA 608U certification via an apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• General HVAC knowledge and a desire to pursue education and experience.
• EPA 608U certification required or progress toward it.

Responsibilities

• Assists HVAC service technicians with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Learns preventative maintenance tasks (filters, belts, lubrication, inspections).
• Identifies HVAC components and assists with diagnosing issues in electrical, refrigeration, and controls.
• Supports installation, replacement and repair activities under supervision.
• Maintains documentation of work, materials, equipment conditions and customer notes.
