Job summary

Ultimate Air, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Apprentice to join our team for hands-on training in residential maintenance and installation.

You will work with experienced technicians, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with equipment replacements while learning to read wiring diagrams and follow manufacturer instructions. Qualifications

• 2+ years residential HVAC experience, service or installation.
• Working knowledge of basic HVAC equipment, tools, and maintenance procedures.
• Willingness to assist with installations and continue learning across both areas.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to complete familiar tasks independently and ask for guidance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on residential HVAC systems within your skill level
• Assist experienced installers with equipment replacements and new system installations
• Help with equipment placement, ductwork, refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and related installation tasks
• Assist with diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment while developing your troubleshooting skills
• Build your ability to read wiring diagrams and follow manufacturer instructions
• Communicate professionally with customers and treat their homes with care
• Maintain accurate job notes and keep tools, vehicles, and work areas organized
• Follow company procedures and safe work practices
