SST Direct seeks a Commercial HVAC Service Technician Apprentice in Gorham, ME to perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of commercial HVAC systems. Completion of HVAC apprentice schooling is required; valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and strong work ethic are essential.

Company-paid training and opportunities for rapid advancement are available. Pay is $18–$27 hourly, based on experience, with full benefits including PTO, medical, dental, and 401(k).

Job description

Seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician Apprentice for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Gorham, ME. This position will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs at customer locations, including troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and operating commercial HVAC systems. Completion of apprentice schooling is required.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k!

Pay: $18 - $27 hourly (based on experience)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service on commercial HVAC systems.
• Follow and comply with Section 608 of the Clean Air Act and all applicable federal, state, and local occupational safety regulations.
• Attend required safety training.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while properly utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers and clients.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance while working at customer locations.
• Work safely and efficiently while performing HVAC installation and service activities.
• Assist and learn under the direction of an assigned Journeyman HVAC Technician.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Be flexible and available to work overtime and weekends as business demands require.
• Lifting and/or moving materials and equipment:
  • 0–50 lbs.: Frequently
  • 51–100 lbs.: Occasionally
  • 101+ lbs.: Seldom
• Maintaining the ability to work safely in a variety of commercial and mechanical environments.
• Ability to meet required vision standards, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance and properly utilize all required PPE.
