Job summary

Verto People Ltd in Gorham, Maine is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial systems across Central and Southern Maine. The role requires strong technical skills, a customer‑focused approach and the ability to respond to service requests as needed.

You will work with state and EPA requirements, hold a Maine gas licence and EPA 608 certification, and communicate professionally with customers while keeping safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• State of Maine Gas LicenceRequired.
• EPA 608 Universal certificationRequired.
• Commercial HVAC systems experienceRequired.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and resolve HVAC service issues safely and efficiently.
• Follow applicable safety procedures and use required protective equipment.
• Maintain current trade licences and certifications.
• Comply with EPA Section 608 requirements and relevant occupational safety regulations.
• Attend safety training and follow established service procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
• Support additional service requirements as needed, including overtime and weekend work when required.

A HVAC Technician / HVAC Service Technician / Commercial HVAC Technician is required to maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems across Central and Southern Maine. This role is suited to an experienced commercial HVAC professional with strong technical skills, a customer-focused approach and the ability to respond to service requirements when needed.
