Job summary

The WireNut Home Services is seeking an HVAC Apprentice in Colorado Springs to learn on the job while supporting installation and maintenance activities. You will work closely with senior technicians, observe proper procedures, and grow your skills through hands-on mentorship and classroom training.

You’re a dependable team player who asks questions, adheres to safety rules, and is eager to advance in a stable, well-paid career in the trades.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and work from heights or tight spaces.
• HVAC experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC Installation Technicians with quality installations and maintenance.
• Learn and follow safety standards in the field and shop.
• Collaborate with leadership and team members to complete tasks.
• Attend training sessions to expand knowledge and skills.

What You’ll Do

As an HVAC Apprentice, you are eager to learn! You ask questions, observe, and emulate the values we adhere to here at WireNut Home Services with our HVAC Installation Technicians. Working closely with leadership in the field, you perform quality installations and maintenance on systems in the home. As you assist them, they mentor and train you on everything including how to maintain all safety standards 100% of the time.

You are a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you and pays close attention to what you’re being taught. You enjoy interacting with your fellow employees. You also spend some of your time taking classes and continuing to expand your knowledge and skills. You are excited to be part of our apprenticeship program and can’t wait to advance in this stable and well‑paid career in the trades!

Basic Requirements

• Ability to pass drug testing
• Current driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Ability to do some lifting and work from heights or small crawl spaces
• HVAC experience is helpful but not necessary

Job Type: Full‑Time

Compensation

Average $18/hour–$20/hour (compensation based on performance measured in metrics on monthly scorecards).
