Job summary

Four Seasons Master is looking for an HVAC Apprentice to assist Lead Installers with furnace, A/C, boiler, sheet metal, and duct work in Chicago, IL. This role offers extensive training and unlimited earning potential, featuring a competitive hourly rate based on performance.

The apprentice will be involved in installations, repairs, and will learn in a structured training environment. Candidates must have strong work ethics, customer service skills, and be open to various working hours.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work long hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Acceptable driving record preferred.
• Any EPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of HVAC equipment (furnaces, air conditioners, etc.).
• Assist the Lead Installer.
• Perform basic repairs.

Skills

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Location: Bedford Park, IL 60638

Salary Range: $16.60 - $30.00 Hourly

Position: HVAC Apprentice – assists HVAC Lead Installers with furnace, A/C, boiler, sheet metal, and duct work.

Training & Earning Structure

• Tier 1: Initial Training Phase (2-4 weeks) – $16.20/hour.
• Tier 2: Field Training Phase – performance-based pay, $16.20-$25/hour.
• Tier 3: Entry-Level Installer – hourly pay $20/hour or performance-based $16.20-$30/hour.

Work Schedule

• Every Sunday off (every 20 weeks you are required to work one Sunday).
• 5-day work weeks with alternating weekend off.
• Easier weeks with one job a day.
• Unlimited earning potential.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform installations of HVAC equipment (furnaces, air conditioners, etc.).
• Assist the Lead Installer.
• Perform basic repairs.
• Willingly learn in Four Seasons training facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Climb ladders or crawl in attic/crawl space to access customer systems.
• Lift at least 50 lbs. multiple times each shift.
• Alternate sitting, standing, kneeling or crawling during service work.

Work Environment

Work involves driving in a company-incurred vehicle, traveling to customer homes, and performing periodic office stops for paperwork or meetings. Work will occur in customer residences, where temperature, space, and comfort levels vary.
