Job summary

Energy Transfer Solutions (ETS) is a trusted leader in specialty HVAC solutions serving PA, NJ, and DE. The Applications Engineer will prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects, working with applications and outside sales engineers to select equipment that meets customer needs.

You will develop proficiency in estimation, maintain price pages, and ensure timely deliverables while keeping current with industry trends to win bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to read/interpret documents.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC bid requests and scopes.
• Collaborate with applications and sales engineers to select appropriate equipment.
• Source prices for materials, labor, and equipment; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure estimates are accurate and reviewed with sales/management before customer issues.
• Maintain price pages and update project schedules and templates.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve estimation.
