Job summary

Elmington Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Austin, TX. You will respond to service requests, perform repairs, and maintain the property with a focus on plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs. HVAC/EPA certifications are required or obtained within 60 days.

You will communicate with residents and coworkers, use company software, and ensure timely completion of work orders and vacant unit turns while upholding Elmington's standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of property maintenance or related experience.
• EPA Section 608/HVAC certifications required or obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and perform repairs promptly.
• Maintain physical condition of the property and perform building maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pool care, roof and gutter issues.
• Operate hand and power tools; use company software and timekeeping.
• Coordinate with residents and team to ensure timely and quality service.
