Robertson Heating Supply Co. has an immediate opening in Alliance, OH for a Technical Support Specialist in our Engineering Department. The role supports HVAC and hydronics troubleshooting, pump sizing, radiant floor design, and load calculations, with occasional travel to other branches and Western PA.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, MS Office skills, and the ability to train installers and technicians while handling admin duties and warranty support.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook for daily admin tasks.
• Willingness to travel to local job sites and between branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC and hydronic troubleshooting and design calculations.
• Size pumps and lay out radiant floor heating systems.
• Conduct heat loss/heat gain calculations and project load analysis.
• Deliver training sessions for installers and field technicians.
• Handle administrative tasks: phones, emails, pricing and quotes.
• Coordinate with dealers, track issues, and assist warranty claims.
• Collaborate with branches and sales staff to support customers.

# HVAC and Hydronics Technical Support SpecialistRobertson HTG Ohio Corp Office - Alliance, OH 44601## OverviewSalary Range$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 Salary/year## DescriptionRobertson Heating Supply Co. has an immediate opening in our Engineering Department for a Technical Support Specialist.**This position can be based out of our corporate office in Alliance, OH - or can be based out of Western PA.**Seeking qualified individual to perform and assist with the following responsibilities:· HVAC technical troubleshooting· Hydronic troubleshooting· Pump sizing· Radiant floor heat design and layout· Heat loss/Heat gain load calculations· Training- classes/seminars for installers and field technicians on installation procedures and troubleshooting techniques. (requires some travel to other branches/territories)· Administrative work such as phone and email correspondence, setting up products, pricing, and quotations.· Work with dealers concerning quality issues, packaging issues, freight damages, etc. Report and follow up with the manufacturer and respond back to the dealer as needed.· Work with our branches and Salesmen· Warranty Assistance- assist and help process claims for unusual claims or circumstances, as well as review denied claims and help obtain the information needed to get the claim approved.· Some Brands we deal with are Rheem, Ruud HVAC, Weil-McLain and Tempstar/ICP.## QualificationsSkills needed to perform these duties:· Great communication skills· Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook- as well as other computer programs.· Read Installation & Operating manuals on new products, have a good understanding of product and know where to find information quickly when needed.· Must work well as a team.This is a Full-Time Monday through Friday office position based out of the Alliance location, or Western PA.
