Job summary

CCBC is seeking a Part-time HVAC Adjunct Faculty to teach Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning credit courses focused on refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating systems. Classes are offered for day and evening schedules at Catonsville and Dundalk campuses.

Pay is $1,085 per credit hour. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and at least five years of full-time HVAC technician experience, plus strong written and oral communication

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least five years of full-time experience working as an HVAC technician.
  • Computer proficiency required along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience teaching or training in an adult setting and current industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach HVAC credit courses focusing on refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating systems.
  • Deliver classes with consideration for day and evening schedules at CCBC Catonsville and CCBC Dundalk campuses.

The Part-time HVAC Adjunct Faculty position teaches H eating,Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) credit courses that focuson refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating systems. Classesare available for both day and evening schedules at the CCBCCatonsville and CCBC Dundalk c ampus es .


Pay level: $1085 per credit hour


Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Atleast five years of full-time experience working as an HVACtechnician. Computer proficiency required along with excellentwritten and oral communication skills.


Experience teaching or training in an adult setting along with current industry-certifications preferred.

Adjunct Faculty, PartTime Associates and Full Time employees are eligible to save forretirement using the Roth 403(b) savings feature. Employees maycontribute traditional pre‑tax 403(b) dollars and Roth 403(b)post‑tax dollars simultaneously. The savings limits are combinedfor the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions.

  • Deferred Compensation Plan — 457(b) offered through VOYAFinancial Advisors, Inc. The 457(b) salary reduction authorizationform is needed. The form is available on SharePoint Forms/HumanResources Forms.
