Huron Valley Schools in Milford, MI seeks an enthusiastic Women's Lacrosse Head Coach to lead the program at Milford and Lakeland High Schools. You will instruct athletes, plan practices, clinics, camps and competitions, and report to the Athletic Director.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or related experience) and is eager to develop professionally through seminars and clinics; coaching experience is preferred and effective communication is essential.

• Ability to speak and write effectively.

Huron Valley Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and innovative Women's Lacrosse Head Coach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1. Able to instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for athletes to realize a degree of individual and team success
• 2. Experience as a player is desired but not necessary
• 3. Coaching experience preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• 1. Provide proper safeguards for maintenance and protection of assigned equipment sites
• 2. Perform duties which may be assigned by the Athletic Director
• 3. Instill in each player a respect for equipment, and school property
• 4. The position includes other unusual aspects such as extended time, risk injury factors and due process predicaments
• 5. Schedule all practices, clinics, camps and competitions
• 6. Continue to grow professionally by attending seminars and clinics
• 7. Maintains discipline and works to increase morale and cooperation
• 8. Implement and design clinics in order to promote the sport

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma and/or related experience.

LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS: Ability to speak and write effectively. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
