SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee substation construction and operation, with a focus on design, testing, and energization across nationwide projects.

Remote work is possible, or full-time onsite in Edison, NJ or Albany, NY, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams. The role requires 5+ years in HV substations, strong leadership and communication, and knowledge of interconnection agreements, procurement, and safety practices.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in substation design, construction, or commissioning of utility-scale or industrial HV systems.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary substation projects through full lifecycle—from kickoff to energization.
• Familiarity with substation components: transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, grounding, control buildings, protection & control, relays, SCADA, etc.
• Experience managing Transmission Line construction.
• PE or PMP preferred; NFPA 70E Qualified Person preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead overall management of substation construction/operation for successful project execution.
• Review agreements, interfaces, and specs to ensure compliance of substation scope.
• Develop and manage substation budget and procurement; oversee long-lead equipment.
• Create subcontracts with scope of work; coordinate RFIs and submittals.
• Lead coordination meetings with utilities, owners, and subcontractors; track milestones and risks.
• Monitor changes and commercial impacts; manage safety and schedule.
• Support energization, testing protocols, and commissioning activities; ensure documentation completion.
