Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for HV substations on a Texas jobsite, with frequent travel.

You will support project engineers, review agreements, budgets, and schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and help maintain safety and quality. Candidates with 3–4 years in power substation design/construction and PMP or related experience are preferred; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in design and/or construction of power substations.
• PMP certification, or direct relevant industry experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Project Engineer responsibilities to ensure project success.
• Review agreements, interconnection requirements, and safety standards for compliance.
• Assist in preparing HV budgets, forecasts and subcontractor scopes of work.
• Manage HV subcontractors, budgets, RFIs, and status reports; participate in meetings.
