Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support HV construction/operation and drive successful project execution on a Texas jobsite with travel.

You will coordinate with Project Engineers, review interconnection agreements and contracts, assist with budgets, and help manage HV subcontractors while upholding safety and quality in energized substations. The role requires 3–4 years in design/construction of power substations, and PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of work related experience in design and/or construction of power substations.
• PMP certification preferred or direct relevant industry experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with office practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all Project Engineer responsibilities to ensure project success.
• Review contracts, interconnection requirements, and studies for compliance.
• Assist in preparing HV budgets and forecasts.
• Develop subcontractor scopes and support procurement with PM.
• Manage HV subcontractors: billings, RFIs, and status reports.
