Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support HV construction and operations for utility-scale solar, storage, and substations. The role is on-site in Texas with travel requirements and close coordination with engineering and procurement teams.

You will help manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, ensuring safety and compliance while driving project profitability and timely completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of work experience in design and/or construction of power substations.
• PMP certification or direct relevant industry experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency with office practices, procedures and equipment.
• P6 scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate all Project Engineer’s responsibilities to achieve project success.
• Review contracts and interconnection requirements to ensure project compliance.
• Assist in preparing HV budgets and forecasts.
• Develop subcontractor scopes of work and support subcontracting efforts with PM.
• Manage HV subcontractors (billings, RFIs, status reports, risk).
• Participate in project kickoff meetings and coordination meetings.
• Assist in material procurement and quarterly planning.
