Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field experience testing, maintaining, and commissioning power systems up to 500kV.
• Experience with testing equipment like megohmmeters and insulation testers.
• Strong understanding of field safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain low to high-voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot control circuits and relay logic.
• Communicate with customers and provide job updates.

Skills

Testing and troubleshooting experience

Knowledge of power systems

Understanding of NFPA 70E and OSHA standards

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to read schematics

Education

High school diploma or GED

NETA Level II certification preferred

Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Electrical Technology or related field
