Job summary

Rising Edge Group is seeking Field Engineer Co-ops to support high‑voltage electrical infrastructure and EPC projects across the United States, including Denver, CO. This hands‑on, field‑based opportunity lets engineering and construction management students work alongside PMs, Superintendents, engineers, and field crews on active utility-scale projects.

Co‑ops will participate through planning, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Open to 3, 6, or 12 month co-op assignments; 6 months preferred based on needs.
• Interest in electrical infrastructure, power delivery, construction, or EPC.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams with day-to-day project execution.
• Review drawings, specs, and project documents for constructability and field requirements.
• Assist with tracking project progress, quantities, materials, and equipment.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
• Maintain daily/progress reports and project records.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field crews.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
