Job summary

RES is seeking an Intern or Co-op Intern to support Field Engineers, shadow operations, and work on assignments that contribute to major projects. This role offers hands-on experience with day-to-day field activities and documentation in a real project environment.

Co-ops are typically 8 months long; candidates must be 18+ and US Citizens. A BS in progress in Construction Management or Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, with ability to travel up to 100% and a valid

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in CM/Civil/EE/ME required.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Must travel 76-100% of the time.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Internship/Co-op may require relocation out of state.

Responsibilities

• Support Field Engineers and shadow project operations.
• Assist with verification that field installations follow IFC drawings.
• Help update project documentation in SharePoint/Procore and other systems.
• Track project tools (RFI, POD, procurement, submittals) and assist in QA checks.
• Attend meetings, take minutes, and share updates with the team and client.
• Communicate professionally to maintain client relationships and drive safety and quality.
