Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks an Electrical Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar construction with emphasis on electrical and high‑voltage systems. Projects span multiple sites across the U.S., with rotations and on-site assignments at Sycamore, OH and London, OH.

Visa sponsorship is not available. The role focuses on ensuring compliant, timely construction through strong communication, inspections with AHJs, FAIs, RFIs, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience in an industrial/utility-scale environment.
• Experience supporting field construction under schedule-driven deadlines.
• Experience creating reports and tracking field data.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site construction activities with a focus on electrical and high‑voltage systems.
• Coordinate inspections with AHJs for electrical and HV components.
• Create and conduct FAIs to verify installations meet design specs.
• Document construction drawings, including red-line HV scopes.
• Manage RFIs between construction teams, engineers, vendors and project owners.
• Review submittals for project specifications compliance.
• Ensure contractors meet electrical scopes and safety standards.
• Assist in pre-construction deliverables and data sheets.
