Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Robot Operator in San Jose, CA to run a humanoid robot through predefined test scenarios using a simple interface, push buttons, and accurately record results. You will document issues and follow established protocols to keep the testing area safe and organized.

In this contract-to-hire role, you will collaborate with engineers and testers to ensure test progress is monitored, anomalies are logged, and test processes are continually improved.

As a Robot Operator, you operate a humanoid robot through pre-defined test scenarios, primarily by using a simple interface, pushing buttons, and accurately recording results. You document and clearly communicate any issues encountered during testing and follow established protocols and procedures to maintain a safe, organized, and clean environment.

• Use a provided interface to start, stop, and control tests, including pushing buttons and monitoring test progress.
• Accurately record test results and observations in the required formats and tools.
• Document any issues, anomalies, or unexpected behavior encountered during testing.
• Communicate test findings and issues clearly to the engineering and testing teams.
• Stay focused and on task while performing repetitive testing work, even when it becomes routine.
• Collaborate with a goal-driven team of engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of test processes.

Qualifications

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
