Description of Work

SALARY RANGE: $38,000.00 - $47,000.00


This position is time-limited, grant funded, and full-time. Funding for this position will end on December 31, 2028.

The North Carolina Multidisciplinary Anti-Human Trafficking Team is an initiative led by the NC State Bureau of Investigation, NC Conference of District Attorneys, and Safe Alliance to strengthen human trafficking investigations and victim support throughout North Carolina. Among other positions, the initiative is bolstered by special agents, financial investigators, and a special resource prosecutor dedicated to improving case outcomes, while expanding crisis response, counseling, and advocacy services for trafficking survivors. The initiative also promotes statewide collaboration through joint investigations, training, public awareness, and development of critical partnerships, all geared toward prioritizing anti trafficking efforts across the state.

The Training Coordinator will support the statewide Multidisciplinary Anti-Human Trafficking Team (MDT) dedicated to combating sex and labor trafficking. The MDT currently consists of prosecutors, law enforcement officers, victim service providers, and legal service partners who collaborate to identify trafficking, support survivors, and pursue accountability across North Carolina. This position will streamline, organize, and manage all training‑related operations for the MDT, ensuring that the team's subject‑matter experts are supported in delivering high‑quality, trauma‑informed, and evidence‑based training to internal and external stakeholders. The Training Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for all training requests, scheduling, logistics, tracking, and resource management. The role requires exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with professionals across multiple disciplines.


Work Environment

This role may involve occasional travel within the state for training events.


Some evening or weekend hours may be required depending on training schedules.


Position reports to the Executive Director of the NC Conference of District Attorneys or her designee and works closely with MDT members, partner agencies, and foundation personnel as needed.
