Job summary

Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility seeks a Human Services Program Administrator 2 to supervise religious services and recreation, and to coordinate with the graduate program to bring quality programming and volunteers for the youth.

The role involves preparing youth for reentry, building community partnerships, and budgeting programs with the Business Office Manager. Primary location is Highland Hills, OH, with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science, pre-medicine, public or business administration or accounting; 18 months' experience in delivery of human services or medical assistance.
• Graduate core program in social or behavioral science, medicine-related field or public or business administration or accounting; 12 months' experience in delivery of human services or medical assistance; 6 months' supervisory experience.
• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
• Note: Training in business or public administration or accounting and experience in reviewing services for cost containment apply to medical cost containment program administrator positions.

Responsibilities

• Work with Religious Services to recruit volunteers to bring meaningful programs to our youth.

• Build rapport with community members with expertise in education, housing, trades, apprenticeship opportunities and budgeting finances.
• Work with the graduate youth of CHJCF to provide guidance on next steps (college, trade schools) and establish rapport with schools.
• Budget programs, trips and events by coordinating with the Business Office Manager.

This staff will work with the graduate program, assist in bringing in quality programming and volunteers to work with the youth and supervise over the Religious services and the Recreation department.

Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Supervising Religious Services and the Recreation Department at CHJCF,
• Working with Religious Services to recruit volunteers to bring meaningful programs to our youth,
• Preparing youth for successful reentry into the community,
• Building rapport with community members with expertiece in education, housing, trades, apprenteship opportunities and budgeting finances,
