The State of Ohio's Youth Services - Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility seeks a Human Services Program Administrator 2 to supervise religious services and recreation, recruit volunteers, and guide youth toward successful reentry. You will coordinate with the graduate program and build partnerships to expand programs and community involvement.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science, public or business administration or accounting; 18 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services.
  • Graduate core program in social or behavioral science, medicine-related field or public/business administration or accounting; 12 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance; 6 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques.
  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising Religious Services and the Recreation Department at CHJCF.
  • Recruit volunteers to bring meaningful programs to youth.
  • Prepare youth for successful reentry into the community.
  • Build rapport with community members with education, housing, trades, apprenticeship opportunities and budgeting finances.
  • Guide CHJCF graduates regarding next steps (college, trade schools).
  • Budget programs, trips and events with the Business Office Manager.

Job Description

Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility is seeking a Human Services Program Administrator 2. This staff will work with the graduate program, assist in bringing in quality programming and volunteers to work with the youth and supervise over the Religious services and the Recreation department.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising Religious Services and the Recreation Department at CHJCF,
  • Working with Religious Services to recruit volunteers to bring meaningful programs to our youth,
  • Preparing youth for successful reentry into the community,
  • Building rapport with community members with expertiece in education, housing, trades, apprenteship opportunities and budgeting finances,
  • Working with the graduate youth of CHJCF to provide them guidance in their next steps (college, trade schools, etc) and esatablishg rapport with such schools.
  • Budgeting programs, trips and events by working with the Business Office Manager.
