Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a Lead Residential Advisor to oversee Horizons Residential Programs, recruiting, training and supervising paraprofessional staff delivering 24/7 residential services to the families served by the program. Evening and night shifts (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm) are required.

A valid NC driver’s license and ability to work with a diverse population are essential for coordinating transport and ensuring safe, supportive care within the housing program.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of paraprofessional staff 24/7 to deliver residential services.

Position Summary

The Residential Advisor delivers community support services to the women and children in the Horizons Residential Programs. The Lead Residential Advisor will have additional duties with a higher level of responsibility. This position works closely with the Program Manager to recruit, train, monitor and direct a team of paraprofessional 24/7 front line staff to provide Residential services to the families served by the program.

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Required Licenses/Certifications

Must possess valid NC driver’s license and be able to clear a motor vehicle check in order to transport minors.
