The Human Services Practitioner supports tobacco cessation services, working with individuals and groups, including tobacco-dependent clients and healthcare workers. Responsibilities include facilitating cessation groups, distributing nicotine replacement therapy, maintaining reports, promoting services, and coordinating with community partners. Certification as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist is required, along with ongoing training.
Requires a Bachelor's degree with at least two years of applicable experience or a Master's degree. Specific certifications or licensures may be required. Experience in education, psychology, social work, or related fields is preferred.
