Human Services Practitioner (Finance)
The Human Services Practitioner position is employed by USF AHEC Tobacco Cessation Program to support cessation services and interventions with individuals and groups addicted to tobacco, as well as healthcare workers who treat tobacco-dependent patients. Responsibilities include applying professional training to assist with tobacco interventions, conducting screenings, providing training, and managing client cases. The role involves interacting with adult clients, the elderly, and institutional staff, and may include distributing nicotine replacement products, pre-registering clients, and preparing group materials.
This position requires a qualified human services professional with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Bachelor's degree candidates must have at least two years of applicable experience; a Master's degree may substitute for this experience. Certain certifications or licensures may also be required or preferred.
