• Supervise a unit of caseworkers responsible for determining Long-Term Care, Special Assistance, Special Assistance In-home, PACE, CAP and eligibility for various community resource programs
• Assign and monitor work within the unit
• Train new and ongoing workers
• Interpret program policies for staff
• Review cases for accuracy
• Respond to complaints and inquiries
• Evaluate policies and procedures with state and county representatives
• Prepare reports
• Evaluate unit needs for budget purposes
