Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health is hiring a Part-Time Human Service Worker in Provo, Utah. You will support residents with daily routines, encourage skill development, and help maintain a safe, structured environment onsite.

Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $22.17 per hour (DOE). Schedule is Sunday–Saturday with variable hours. Requires a high school diploma or GED and passes a background check. Bilingual Spanish speakers may qualify for higher pay.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential.
  • Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded in challenging situations.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required.
  • Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards.

Job description

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker, earning $17.50–$22.17/hour, at our Intensive Residential Treatment Center in Provo, Utah. In this onsite role, you'll support individuals with high behavioral health needs by assisting with daily routines, encouraging skill development, and helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. You'll play a key role in promoting positive behavioral change while providing consistent, compassionate support to residents.

Schedule: Sunday–Saturday (variable hours & days)
Compensation: $17.50–$22.17 DOE

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
