Job summary

City of Austin is seeking a Policy Compliance Consultant (Human Rights Framework Programming) within the Human Rights Division to lead and coordinate initiatives advancing equity and human rights for residents.

The role requires collaboration with City departments and community partners, analyzing data to inform decisions, and translating input into actionable programs and policies that address systemic inequities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus five years in policy or program management.
• Master's degree may substitute for up to two years of experience.
• Experience managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders is preferred.
• Ability to analyze data and translate findings into policy and program decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross-departmental human rights initiatives and programs.
• Develop and implement policies to advance equity and protect rights.
• Engage with community organizations and diverse stakeholders in meetings and presentations.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions and measure outcomes.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and strategic recommendations for accountability.
