Supervises HR staff responsible for classification, pay, performance management, and related HR functions.
Reviews and evaluates position classification requests and recommends solutions in accordance with Civil Service rules and LDH policies.
Reviews and approves pay requests, resolves pay-related issues, and coordinates requests requiring Civil Service Commission approval.
Develops, implements, and maintains LDH’s Continuous Performance Management (CPM) program while ensuring compliance with Civil Service requirements.
Provides guidance and consultation to managers, supervisors, and employees on HR policies, procedures, employee performance, and workplace concerns.
Serves as a subject matter expert on FLSA requirements, conducts position reviews, and ensures compliance with federal regulations and departmental policies.
Analyzes HR data, identifies operational issues, establishes priorities, and recommends timely solutions to support organizational goals and objectives.
