Job summary

McGee Air Services in SeaTac, WA, seeks an HR Specialist to support HR functions for a high-performing operation and work with station leadership on attendance reliability, employee relations, and labor relations.

You will deliver high-quality customer service to Team Members, model McGee’s values of Safety, Service, Integrity, Mutual Respect, Accountability and Pride, and manage confidential information, investigations, and special projects.

Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies and procedures, including collective bargaining provisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills, with the ability to present data and conclusions concisely.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple issues with deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems and determine win-win solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with high initiative and flexibility.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain an airport SIDA badge.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding documents and conversations involving team members and HR matters.
  • Assist Team Members with questions and escalate to the correct department as needed.
  • Assist with station level employee relations investigations.
  • Support time & attendance reliability accountability and coaching/document preparation.
  • Assist with station HR projects including open enrollment and training.
  • Maintain open, inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with McGee’s values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support McGee’s operation.

$23.03-$32.24/hour

Job Description

The Human Resource Specialist supports HR functions for a high-performing operation and reports to the Regional Manager of Human Resources. This position interfaces with station leadership in support of team members in areas related to attendance reliability, employee relations, labor relations and other HR functions. The HR Specialist delivers a high level of customer service to our Team Members by modeling McGee Air Services’ core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding documents and conversations involving team members, human resource matters, and all company confidential information.
  • Assist Team Members with any questions and escalates to the correct department, if needed.
  • Assist with timely and thorough station level employee relations investigations.
  • Support time & attendance reliability accountability and reliability efforts including preparation of documents related to coaching and discipline.
  • Assist with station HR projects, including open enrollment, training, etc.
  • Maintainopen and honest communication that creates an inclusive,engagingand high-performance culture thatdemonstratesMcGee’s values of Safety, Service, Integrity, Mutual Respect, Accountability and Pride.
  • Performotherduties asassigned to support McGee’s successful business operation.
Qualifications

Required

  • Ability to obtain & maintain an airport SIDA badge.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in Human Resources
  • Aviation, Transportation, or related industry experience.
